IFIA’s Full Members

Sensifai is an award-winning AI startup in Belgium, developing systems that en-
able computers to understand images, audio, text, and video content. Their inno-
vations focus on the edge of processing deep-learning algorithms, recognition of
complex actions and events, and deep-learning algorithms to solve complex in-
verse problems. Sensifai has successfully launched spin-off technologies in differ-
ent verticals such as automated shopping, safety, security, assistive technologies,
and sensory information processing.
They were a proud graduate of SAP and Techstars accelerator in 2017. They have
received several million dollars of investments and credits from different programs
such as VLAIO, IUIA, and the European Commission. Moreover, they have served
hundreds of clients worldwide, such as HUAWEI, Amazon, ARTUS, and dWERK,
and forged priceless partnerships with gigantic tech corporations such as Ama-
zon, Intel, and Huawei.
Sensifai’s goal as the representative of IFIA in Belgium is to engage young genera-
tions in state-of-the-art inventions and further promote the entrepreneurial spirit. As
an AI company with roots in the top universities, such as KU Leuven in collabora-
tion with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and ETHZ, Sensifai aims
at creating an ecosystem where inventors, different stakeholders, and end-users
exchange their knowledge to innovate toward solving the real-world problems that
save the planet, enhance our daily lifestyle, and support vulnerable and minorities.
As the CEO and co-founder of Sensifai BVBA, Dr. Mohamad Hasan Bahari has
managed to run the company with its several spin-offs get accelerated and sup-
ported by Techstars, SAP, VLAIO, and the European Innovation Council (EIC).
Plus, this company has raised over $2M Cash + $1M Credit fund together with its
spin-offs. Dr. Mohamad Hasan Bahari also serves as an expert in the European
Commission, Eureka Network (Europe), as a mentor in the New chip accelerator
(USA), and has been awarded as the top 10 Belgian innovators in 2017 by MIT
Technology Review.
Lastly, IFIA is happy to know that a new innovative organization from Belgium is
now a full member. And we hope that this company helps the inventors and inno-
vators from Belgium and all around the world.
