2020. This year’s iCAN 2021 “The 6th Edition” once again marked the event’s
highest record in terms of the number of total participants, countries and col-
laborating organizations.

iCAN 2021 was entered by a total of 652 inventions from 70 countries and
regions around the world from all continents around the world: North/South/
Central Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania. All ap-
plicants initially competed in the competition Preliminaries for the evaluation
for Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal Awards. Furthermore, the organizing com-

the Finalists were examined for their additional submission of invention video
presentations. In the Finals, the jury selected winners for the Grand Prize,
Semi-Grand Prize, Best Invention Awards and Special Awards.
